Loading ...The Pitch: Why buy a separate subwoofer when you could pick up these speakers? Not only do they look cool, they also have a small footprint, and they feature 4-inch subwoofers built directly into the base of each speaker.
Pros: These speakers don’t take up much room, but looks can deceive, as they pack a powerful punch with the integrated long-throw subwoofers. Plus, they also boast an Aux-in jack and specially engineered 1.5-inch speaker drivers.
Cons: While the subwoofers may provide ample bass, you may still need a standalone unit to complement these speakers. They offer an auxiliary jack, but a built-in iPod dock would be even better.
Recommendation: From a technical standpoint, these speakers are great for on-the-go business travelers, college students, and anyone who wants big sound in a small package. I recommend that the Altec Lansing Expressionist BASS move on to the next round.
