The Pitch: The HP D7560 promises to print lab-quality photos and laser-quality documents, and is capable of creating beautiful color using five individual HP Vivera inks. It features a big 3.5-inch touchscreen for easy navigation, as well as viewing, editing, and organizing your photos.
Pros: The D7560 prints good-quality photos at a respectable speed, and the printer is very affordable at just $75.
Cons: The low price of the printer cannot hide the fact that ink cartridges will add considerably to cost of ownership over time.
Recommendation: Sorry, HP, but this is a no. It’s a good photo printer, but that’s it: It has no special abilities or functions that push the envelope, and nothing warranting a CES 2009 mention.
