The Pitch: The Krave comes with very interesting design, a hybrid between a touch phone and a flip. It allows users to experience touch-based navigation, yet gives them the most popular form-factor.
Pros: The Krave really is a quality phone, with good build quality, excellent reception, and sound during a call, and a responsive touchscreen.
Cons: Making a late appearance in the touchscreen arena, the Motorola fails to impress. Its clear flip is interesting, but it doesn’t compensate for the poor user interface, multimedia features, and HTML browser.
Recommendation: Although it really is a phone to consider if quality is what matters, it isn’t a device that will change the mobile world. It is just plain and doesn’t impress with anything but its flip. I recommend that the Motorola Krave does not move to the next round of the Last Gadget Standing competition.
