It’s sleeker than the original Flip Video, and some of the most recent Flip-related improvements include capacity for 60 minutes of 720p widescreen HD video, new FlipShare drag-and-drop software, and custom design on the Flip MinoHD’s exterior (i.e., skins).
Pros: At $229.99, the price is right! Sleeker and sexier than the original Flip Video, the Flip MinoHD is something that you will want to take with you everywhere. It contains the same great one-touch recording controls and its HD video is sure to please.
Cons: In the past, FixYa’s Experts have helped community members with the original Flip on issues including file transfer, hidden trash files, and problems syncing with Mac software; however, it appears that Pure Digital has addressed most of these issues with the MinoHD.
Recommendation: The Flip MinoHD should definitely move forward to Last Gadget Standing. All complaints aside, the camera is affordable, easy-to-use, and smaller than many smart phones.
