The Pitch: Turn any ordinary USB hard drive into a Clickfree Automatic Backup hard drive. Simply plug the USB cable into your computer, then plug an external hard drive into the cable. When launched, the software searches for and backs up your important data.

Pros: You don’t have to learn a backup program or purchase a new hard drive for backing up your computer — it turns any hard drive into a Clickfree one.

Cons: Some users won’t be comfortable not having an all-in-one solution.

Recommendation: The Clickfree product is built for anyone to use and backs up your files with ease. This latest innovation allows you to bring your own hard drive, so you can save money by using an external hard drive you already have. I definitely recommend that this move forward since it will help the masses back up their important documents easily.

Brilliant! I just bought a 1TB drive for backing up my photos and videos. With this, I don't have to manually select the files

Our Host: Robin Raskin

How it works:

We welcome any and all 'hot' products slated to appear at CES. Our experts screen them. They'll continue to narrow the list until we get to a Top 25 and then a Top 10. We'll also conduct a online vote among the Top 25 to determine a "people's winner." The Top 10 will appear at a CES supersession where a live voting audience will determine which deserves to be the Last Gadget Standing.

When: Saturday, 10:30 a.m., Jan. 9, 2010

Where: Room N255-257, LVCC, North Hall, 2010 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
