The Samson Go Mic is a portable USB condenser microphone meant to perch on top of your laptop screen. If you are not happy with the quality of your laptop’s built-in mic, this could be a good choice for you.

Geared toward mobile users who need better quality sound, the Go Mic folds up to stow easily in a laptop bag alongside your computer.

One neat feature (especially if you like the sound of your own voice) is the ability to plug in headphones and monitor yourself, which will help out as you prepare for the “American Idol” auditions.
