Top 25TOP 25 – Hive is the modern, affordable way to secure and protect the places, people and things you care about most.

Hive adds the power of your trusted social networks to the world’s first ultra-long life, battery powered camera to make it dead simple to secure your stuff, no matter who you are, or where you are.

Hive is easily installed, runs on your existing Wi- Fi network, is controlled through your mobile device, and can even travel with you. When the armed camera senses motion, it sends encrypted video to the Hive cloud and notifies your community, who then use Hive’s mobile and web apps to respond to the alert appropriately.

Hive is a fraction of the cost of traditional security system, and makes a true security system affordable for everyone. Strength in numbers.

JUDGES REVIEW

You’re out to dinner with your significant other and, all at the same time,
five of your best friends from around the country start calling and texting
you to tell you that some dude in overalls is in your place ripping off your
stereo. How did they know? Hive’s wireless battery-powered security cameras
can go pretty much anywhere in your home, and through Hive’s $149 per year
cloud-based subscription service, you can easily deputize your friends and
family to visually eavesdrop on your humble abode when you’re not paying
attention. Just leave the cameras out of the bedroom. They’re motion
activated.

2013 Press Release

About

Last Gadget Standing

Last Gadget Standing looks for products that are more than just a flash in the pan. They are products that will endure and are pioneering the ways in which the digital world will change. Any exhibitor at CES can enter a product into the Last Gadget Standing competition--though it must be a device, not a service or software. Products need to have shipped during 2012 or be available for shipping by the end of Q2 of 2013. We honor NDAs and we reserve two spaces for products that have winner potential but won't be announced until the show.

Special Hosts

We're extremely lucky this year to have Gary "Bababooey" Dell'Abate and Jon Hein, of the Howard Stern Wrap Up Show to emcee the Last Gadget Standing . They love products and they love the CES crowd.
