Instabeat is the first monitor to mount on any swimming goggles, and give swimmers real-time feedback on their training zones. The optical heart rate sensor reads an accurate heart rate from the temple, and the motion sensors automatically track the head’s motion to automatically determine the lap count, lap time, and swim strokes. The post-workout app shows the heart rate curve, broken down by laps, strokes, active vs. rest time, swim strokes and pace per 100.
250 swimmers took part of Instabeat’s design, testing, making it the most flexible, accurate and versatile swimming monitor. Ironman champions Lauren Brandon and Matt Hanson, as well as Olympic swimmer Sabine Hazboun are global brand ambassadors, changing the conversation around heart rate training for swimming.
